Trade marketing is a one-stop department within GI, primarily focusing on developing to attain defined business objectives throughout product categories focusing on UAE markets. The function is organized in divisions, each having its dedicated team to deliver the proper focus on products and customers by remaining true to the core values of integrity, transparency, excellence, and active collaborations Trade Marketing plays a pivotal role in the distribution business aiming to increase demand in market and ensures guidelines are drilled down to sales and merchandising. A vital aspect of business focusing on new product launches, business plan, distribution tracking, forecasting, and conducting quarterly brand / retailers’ business reviews & Updates.
GI has expertise in HoReCa, Contract Business & Specialized channels. Team of experienced sales personnel takes care of tender negotiations in liaison with other support functions for product analysis, documentation, certifications, and product development to ensure channel specific demands are met. Thanks to our brand partners who provide training and educate GI team on technical aspects of products. GI team is handling most delicate customers & airlines for more than two decades with best customer service.
Product selling has become more scientific with in depth research on planograms, consumer behavior and elements that influence consumer selection in category. GI has ample resources to take care of the merchandising needs at modern trade, traditional trade, and other outlets. The team ensures product placement, planograms and brand positioning is implemented as per the guidelines. GI merchandising team successfully implements Outlet & Brand events throughout the year with best-in-class placement of promotional displays and setting high standards in execution, recognized by our brand partners.
Gulf International visionary management team started developing E-commerce channel in Y 2015. During tough COVID times when many businesses were struggling to capitalize on this channel, GI was fully prepared to meet E-Commerce challenges. E-Com business grew by leap and bounds in Y 2020 & 2021.
A dedicated team of E-Commerce specialists having hands on knowledge of placements, technical aspects of business including JBP negotiations & advance planning to capture major events along with day-to-day challenges is delivering revenue for Gulf International on monthly basis.
Al Batha Holding is actively participating in Emarati training program. At Gulf International we believe in imparting knowledge with the young Emarati graduates as our social responsibility and giving back to the nation. Identified candidates are given comprehensive training and introduced to various commercial and financial aspects of the business for grooming.
